2-Hour Strategy Session

Two hours.
One conversation that changes your next move.

A single, high-impact session designed to bring precision and strategic clarity to whatever you're facing right now — a decision, a pivot, a launch, a reinvention.

Anyone can build a version of what you're building. That was never the hard part, and it's getting easier by the month.

What's actually rare is the judgement to know what's worth building, and the positioning to be trusted with it before you've proven anything.

That's what this session is for.

Is this you?

This is for you if…

You want to pressure-test a decision or a strategy that's keeping you stuck right now
You want to sharpen your positioning before a raise, a promotion push, or a new venture
You're juggling several roles, ventures, or ideas and need help finding the throughline and a plan to simplify it
You want to test working with me before committing to a longer engagement
The session

What to expect

Two hours, focused entirely on the question you most need answered.

Ahead of the call, I'll send you a little bit of homework.

I pair your responses with my own research into you and your work, so I walk in already understanding the terrain.

That means the two hours go straight to what matters — not context-setting.

In the room, we work on the actual problem: the product decision, the positioning question, the reinvention, the next big step.

I bring two decades of product thinking, strategic positioning, and operational judgement, applied directly to your situation.

And I tell you what I actually think — not the diplomatic version.

Two hours sounds short.

It is enough because most of what keeps people stuck isn't a lack of time — it's a lack of clarity and an outside perspective sharp enough to cut through it.

The homework and research do the slow work before we sit down, so the two hours themselves go straight to the decision, not the throat-clearing.

I've watched genuinely stuck, overwhelmed operators leave with a plan they didn't have walking in.

Who this is for

You're not here because you're incapable.

You're here because you're good, and "good" has stopped being enough to get you where you're capable of going.

This session tends to suit:

  • 01Senior executives deciding on a strategic move — a pivot, a new division, a bet on where the business or the technology is heading
  • 02Founders working through product strategy, positioning, or how to build credibility ahead of a raise
  • 03Consultants and advisors with real expertise that hasn't yet translated into the fees, platform, or client tier it warrants
  • 04Anyone at a genuine inflection point — a reinvention, several disparate projects that need a throughline, a decision they don't want to get wrong

Whatever the question is, you bring it. That's what the two hours are for.

The outcome

You'll leave with

Clarity on the actual problem — often not the one you walked in with.

My direct point of view on it.

A concrete plan you could execute entirely on your own — whether that's a positioning strategy, a product decision, or your next move.

Why this comes from me

I'm Sophia Matveeva, founder and CEO of Tech for Non-Techies.

Sophia Matveeva

I'm founder and CEO of Tech for Non-Techies, an executive education and advisory firm trusted by Oxford University, Microsoft, Techstars, and the Royal Bank of Canada.

As a non-technical founder, I co-created apps and algorithms used by thousands of people worldwide and raised investment — which means the product thinking I teach is operational, not theoretical.

Earlier, I ran investor relations, government relations, and public relations at a private equity firm, reporting directly to the CEO, through a period when the market shifted underneath us and the strategy had to be rebuilt at speed. I know what it costs to be right too late, and what it takes to reposition fast and correctly.

I guest lecture at Oxford, London Business School, and Chicago Booth, and have spoken at GITEX, Cannes Lions, and private executive forums. My work has appeared in the Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, and Forbes. I hold an MBA from Chicago Booth and sit on the Advisory Board of Riviter, which uses AI to predict consumer trends for the world's largest brands.

The strategy in this session is the one I have used to build my own business and career — not a framework I researched for a keynote.
